With a book by Howard L. Craft and music direction by Kevin Wilson, '69 Seasons explores one of the most fascinating years in America's history.
Through music, comedy, tumult and visits with icons of the time, audiences experience how the events of 1969 affected the American landscape. As the cast of three actors take on the roles of an Army sergeant, a young impressionable photo journalist, and an idealistic African American woman, audiences will set out on a journey of cultural and political upheaval.
Audiences will feel the groove of James Brown, hear the psychedelic riffs of Jimi Hendrix, identify with the angst of folk idol Bob Dylan, recall Sam Cook's classic lyrics, sing to the poetry of Joni Mitchell, and belt out the rock 'n roll blues of Janis Joplin.
EBZB Productions has connected with audiences of all ages with over a decade of original works presented. '69 SEASONS offers the same well crafted stage setting, complete with a 4-piece rock band, costumes, and media.'
